Hello, my name is Alexander Zhang and I make illustrations and designs for productions such as films, books, and games. I love making art as well learning from others that do the same.

A lot of my inspiration comes from media I consume like movies, comics, and games. Most of the illustrations I make depict some kind of supernatural element. I love being able to tell stories as much as I do drawing, and I hope to create interesting illustrations that are both fantastical and inspiring.

 I initially started off in 3D modeling, and over time decided to lean more into illustration and concept work. I’ve still retained a lot of what I learned doing 3D, and use it as a way to supplement and enhance my 2D works. I use 3D software in order to quickly iterate on composition ideas and to have realistic use of space and perspective.
